Harrison’s razor: Dexter muses. Deb asks Harrison about Rita’s death. Deb says Dexter Harry abused him as a child. Deb is adamant that Dexter not reveal his actual identity to Harrison. Kurt shows Chloe her cabin suite. He marvels at her generosity and advises her to “pay it forward.” Logan tells Angela that Matt’s credit card information shows he spent the last three nights at the Gramercy in NYC. Molly encourages Angela to confront Matt. Angela mentions a missing people convention in the place she wishes to visit. Molly offers to pay for her podcast vacation. Logan is left in control. Harrison arrives. He sees his blade in Dexter’s hands, pained by his father’s search. He claims he just carries it for protection after being robbed while living on the street. Harrison wants Dexter to say what Ethan’s side is, and Dexter instructs Harrison to speak it. Dexter assures Harrison he’s fine. Harrison storms off, claiming he can’t trust someone who’s lying. A party is thrown by Zach and Scott. Audrey asks Angela whether she can join Harrison, Zach, and their pals.

Audrey will be back by 11 a.m., according to Miriam, who is staying for the weekend. And that she should be patient with Audrey, says Miriam. Harrison discovers the celebration is for everyone on Ethan’s Kill List, making him the honoree. The crowd roars with joy. Initially reserved, he joins in the fun. Dexter enters the tavern and requests a Jameson from Tess. Tess inquires about Harrison and suggests a therapist. Kurt arrives and blasts “Runaway” from the jukebox. Tess says Kurt has these episodes every few months and plays the same song. She then informs Dexter Kurt will ask her to dance, which he does. Harrison and Audrey talk at the party. She concerns about the true crime podcasts, but he swears he liked them. Audrey inquires about wielding such power over others. She admits to taking a photo of Ethan’s book from her mother’s office, which Harrison questions. In the meantime, Audrey is dragged away by a female who approaches Harrison and kisses him, then removes his phone and throws it in a bowl with everyone else’ She offers him Ecstasy gelcap. Harrison keeps drinking and getting high, exploring the party. An H in her foot is a dare. He rips her skin with the knife. A friend helps stop the bleeding. Harrison is confused and wanders. Scott dispenses a blu Audrey visits Harrison. The truth is, Harrison’s father is a phony whose real name isn’t Jim Lindsay. Audrey tries to help Harrison. He asks her if she believes him, and she says yes. Harrison passes out. Audrey grabs her phone and dials 911. Harrison wakes up, Logan in front. Audrey joins us. Logan warns Harrison that the Narcan will make him drowsy. Harrison is fine. Logan inquires, and Harrison turns to Scott. Logan scolds Scott, demanding to know what he gave Harrison. Scott offers Logan the blue pills, saying everyone else had no problems. Dexter visits Harrison at the hospital.

The doctor tells Dexter Harrison overdosed on fentanyl, a cheaper, a more dangerous narcotic used to cut purer opiates. Logan joins Dexter for a talk. Logan tells him Scott’s brother acquired the tablets from Miles, a Moose Creek drug dealer. He tells Dexter to be there for his son, but Dexter snarls at him. “Deb” screams after Dexter as he leaves the hospital. Dexter tells Harrison he’ll see a therapist. He can simply go to school and come home. Harrison is icy and distant. Chloe bangs on Kurt’s door. She hears upstairs. She notices the red light above the security camera. “You’re already dead,” she reads in red. Molly and Angela arrive in Manhattan. Logan calls Angela, explaining what happened to Harrison and how Audrey saved him. Angela is worried about Audrey, but Logan reassures her. Molly attempts in vain to gain an answer from the front desk worker. Angela asks about Matt Caldwell. The cashier says Matt left the night before. Angela requests security footage. The cashier calls it a privacy infringement. The clerk hesitantly agrees, urging them to return later in the evening. Dexter gives Harrison breakfast, then leaves. Harrison trashes his breakfast. Dexter gets some garbage bags and goes to see Dr. Patel. Meanwhile, Dexter approaches Dr. Patel for pain relief for his goat. Take what you need and she will bill you later. Get ketamine, syringes, and plastic sheeting. Dexter heads to Moose Creek’s Crystal Bar. He enters with a ketamine syringe. He orders a beer and keeps an eye out for a drug dealer doing business in the bar’s corner. Dexter asks the dealer whether he’s Miles. Dexter requests “blues.” Miles leads him out. Dexter injects ketamine into Miles’ neck just as the cops arrive. With the syringe gone, Dexter begins pounding Miles. Logan pulls Dexter off Miles from the police cruiser. Teddy handcuffs Miles and orders Dexter to follow them back to the police. Harrison leaves his belongings at home. An expert from Miami Metro Homicide, Angel Batista, speaks on uncovering patterns in seemingly unrelated cases at the Law Enforcement Conference in Manhattan. Logan questions Miles at the station. Dexter listens. Miles tells Logan the drug maker’s name is Jasper Hodge. He tells Dexter to go fill out some papers. Harrison explores Iron Lake. Logan gets Jasper Hodge’s address, but can’t get a warrant for at least 12 hours. Dexter cuddles Esther to gain Jasper’s address, and Esther sympathizes with Harrison. An experiment at the cabin. She strips for the camera. Kurt tells her not to via speaker. Chloe undresses.

Kurt shuts down his computer. Angel mentions Bay Harbor Butcher at the conference. Molly tells Angela she did an episode on him, claiming it was a cop from the same precinct. Angel goes on to suggest that the Butcher’s victims were all murders who got away with murder, and that one person is likely behind them all. Dexter visits Jasper Hodge. In lieu of the Code, Deb begs him to leave Hodge alone. Dexter confirms Dexter goes into Hodge’s house and finds the drug lab. Finally, he captures Jasper and ketamines him. Kurt is dressed for hunting. He frees Chloe by unlocking the door. Chloe gets ready but refuses to leave. Kurt descends with a broken piece of a mirror. Chloe lunges at Kurt, slicing his face, but he overcomes her. Kurt dragged Chloe outside to run. She swoops in. He kills her by aiming for her eye. This irks him. He panics and shoots her in the heart. Angela approaches Angel after the talk to talk shop. She explains the pattern of missing women. He flirts with her and insists there’s no pattern. She retaliates, but they keep talking about the women. He inquires about her stomach and when she first felt uneasy. She mentions Iris. Angel tells Angela to trust her gut. A teenage investigator called Debra Morgan was the only person who realized the Trinity Killer was related. On hearing Angela’s question regarding Deb, Angel confesses that she perished along with her brother, Harrison. Dexter has Hodge on the table in his kill room. Then Dexter tells Hodge about his drug victims, who all asked for it. An automobile approaches Dexter as he is about to stab Hodge in the chest. When Dexter peers out the window, it’s Logan. Kurt meets Harrison, who tells him he’s leaving town. Harrison accepts Kurt’s offer to buy him supper. Harrison notices Kurt’s cut cheek. Dexter injects Hodge with fatal chemicals and then cuts him loose. The cops search Hodge’s house.

They find him dead in a chair. Angela and Molly watch the night’s footage. The man that checked out as Matt Caldwell is not Matt. Angela takes a photo, claiming it’s enough. Angela and Molly leave, puzzled by Kurt’s deception. Kurt tries to persuade Harrison to stay at the diner by advising him to be kind. Kurt hires Harrison. and asking him to “pay it forward” as he did before. Angela returns home and reassures Audrey that Harrison is alright. Harrison tells Audrey his father’s real name isn’t Jim Lindsay. Upon arrival, Dexter asks Harrison to supper. Harrison returns from therapy and goes to lie down. Angela goes to conduct some research.   After a quick Google search, she discovers an obituary for a “Dexter Morgan,” with a photo that looks suspiciously like her boyfriend Jim…
