Westworld Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers
Since Season 1, it seems like all the concepts are coming together which is more gratifying from a narrative standpoint. Now that we’ve reached the halfway point, let’s hope this momentum holds up. This time in Season 4 things are going really well, but we have questions about who is really in power, other than the difference between the humans and the hosts. This is one of the things that the program is doing very well. It’s only going to get worse from here.
In the fifth episode of Season 4 of Westworld, we will have the opportunity to witness another unique twist of reality. Or, if it isn’t, at least the world that Hell wants to make. A significant portion of the promotional material for Episode 5 titled “Zhuangzi” includes “William” (Ed Harris) providing a monologue on “The world is ours”. Our understanding of the first mechanisms being used to exert control over some of these humans has greatly improved. Another thing we’re interested in going forward is the total number of other parks we can visit, whether located within or outside city limits.
What happened to Caleb (Aaron Paul), coupled with the realization that he is not really alive or in control at this point, will undoubtedly be one of the most challenging aspects for us to move forward in this situation. Even though the competition is still on. Hale will continue to hold on to power, and at this point, we wonder what she’ll do with it and what a bigger end it will be. Is Maeve (Thandiwe Newton) really going to be the weapon, as well as the only way to turn things around in a meaningful way?
