Claim to Fame Season 2: Who Is Related to JR?

Claim to Fame is a game show where contestants assume the role of a related to a famous person. Each week, competitors struggle to conceal the identity of their famous relative while attempting to expose everyone else’s “claim to fame.” The new season of the game of mystery and concealed identities is hosted by famed brothers Kevin and Franklin Jonas. Players with some famous names in their families have already been eliminated from Season 2. The niece of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson was fired in Week 1 (in a very dramatic way), and additional famous faces like Dolly Parton and Eddie Murphy were revealed in the following weeks.

Claim to Fame Season 2: Who is Cole?

This season’s series has 12 new candidates, including “J.R.” In addition to vying for the $100,000 top prize, he is also making a “Claim to Fame.” JR claimed that his NBA player sibling is a famous relative. He also admitted during the talent event how much he resembles Dwyane Wade. Clues revealed that his relative was born in Lithia Springs, Georgia, and might be a rapper.

In week 3, they displayed JR’s headshot along with his relative’s choice of one of three items: a pacifier, a jersey, or a chef’s hat. In week 4, some of the other competitors are speculating that his relative is a rapper, with some believing it might be DaBaby. And there are rumors concerning his identity and possible ties to DaBaby.See all the details we have about him below, along with our best estimate as to who his famous relative is.

Claim to Fame Season 2 Is JR related to DaBaby?

JR appears to be deliberately trying to mislead people with his stories and deceptions, and this is regarded on the show as a cunning tactic to conceal his identity. JR stated before the season began that his relative’s last text to him said, “Go kick ass,” and he is entering the game with the phrase “Don’t Be Last,” which describes her plan of attack. (Well, he’s done that already!)

The text mentions JR’s relationship with a musician, however, the evidence indicates that he is not really linked to DaBaby. Instead, the indications and clues suggest a relationship with Lil Nas X, another well-known personality in the music industry.

Considering that the rapper/singer was born in Lithia Springs, the pacifier hint might refer to his popular song Industry Baby.” The clue about the chef hat could potentially refer to his song “Panini.” He even created paninis for a YouTube video with chef Gordon Ramsey!

American rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Nas X was given the name Montero Lamar Hill on April 9, 1999. He first gained notoriety with the song “Old Town Road.” With a record 19 weeks at the top of the American Billboard Hot 100 chart—the longest period at number one since the chart’s establishment in 1958—this country rap song enjoyed extraordinary popularity. Notably, Lil Nas X came out as homosexual in public while “Old Town Road” was at the top of the charts, marking him the only artist to do so while their song was at number one.

The enormous success of “Old Town Road” catapulted Lil Nas X’s career to new heights and paved the way for the release of his first extended play, “7.” Two more standout singles from this EP, “Panini” and “Rodeo” (with Cardi B or Nas), achieved respectable Hot 100 chart places.

Lil Nas X’s debut studio album, “Montero,” which was released in 2021, increased his notoriety in the music business. The album received support from tracks that reached the top of the charts, including “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and “Industry Baby” (with Jack Harlow), as well as the top ten single “That’s What I Want.” His debut album was well-received by critics, and at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, it was even nominated for Album of the Year.

Lil Nas X has shown his flexibility as an artist throughout his career by fusing many genres and pushing the limits of modern music. His outspoken candor, together with his top-charting accomplishments and ground-breaking presence as an openly homosexual artist, have elevated him to prominence in the music business and served as an inspiration to many.
