The Resident Season 5 Episode 15 Recap

Devon is in a class and is watching a clinical trial that is being displayed to the pupils. Meanwhile, Irving is attempting to save the life of Tyrell Tallent, but when he ceases chest compressions, it is too late; death has arrived. A patient arrives and dies in the emergency room. He possesses medications that claim to have been prescribed by Conrad, although Conrad did not, and the prescriptions do not match. Cade informs Conrad of the situation and advises him to contact the FBI immediately. Devon begins his clinical trial once she provides him with Todd’s contact information. Kit notices that Trevor has gone missing since they discussed Billie, and she’s been looking for him. Cade gets up in the middle of his shift and leaves. Devon learns of Padma’s desire to use Leela’s egg from the sisters. Cade arrives at the FBI ahead of Conrad and appears to know more than he does. Cade and the FBI suspect there is a pill mill operating, with people using Conrad’s name to obtain prescriptions all over the country.

Cade has been supplying data and documents on the mafia’s drug distribution methods, which is why the FBI has been on the lookout for her. AJ pays a visit to his mum. Leela informs Mariana that her lung has collapsed for the second time. During the clinical trial, Albert is having trouble with the therapies. When the board refuses to even consider hearing the case against one of its buddies, Bell understands that the board isn’t who he believes it is. Cade tells Conrad that she uncovered Medicare fraud at the hospital where she worked as a resident, became addicted to the high of apprehending individuals, and collaborated with the FBI, but they were focused on the mafia, and her life was threatened. For the past two years, she has been fleeing and hiding from the mafia. They share a tender moment in which they acknowledge their affections for one another, but she claims that she avoids becoming involved with others since she will abandon them. Devon approaches Conrad for assistance with Albert.

Bell tells Kit about his experiences with the board of directors. He makes contact with the person who made the complaint in order to discuss Dr. Bosley. Devon notifies Conrad that Albert has completed four doses of the five-dose schedule and is deteriorating. Mariana is suffering from endometriosis, according to Leela. Leela informs AJ, who congratulates her on the diagnosis, and they prepare for surgery. Albert is put on dialysis after being intubated. Albert’s condition is stable and improving as a result of the experiment, according to the most recent scans. Leela sits down with Devon and tells him she isn’t sure if she wants children now or in the future. So she’ll give the eggs to her sister and save some for herself to give her time to consider them. Conrad is asked about Cade by AJ. Conrad, on the other hand, refuses to give up and insists that Gigi is the one girl for him.
