Chester deduces that Orloff’s objective is to become immortal by collecting energy from everyone in Central City and ageing them hundreds of years, when he and Cecile discover a laptop with his work. He turns on his contraption, but Barry is able to reverse the gamma field, inverting the energy charge and reversing Orloff and Barry’s modifications. Orloff has been sentenced to prison. Barry visits Caitlin at her apartment a week later and hears about her plot to resurrect Frost. Barry smashes her tools because she refuses to recognise that Frost is no longer alive.
