The Flash Season 8 Episode 16 Recap

In episode 16, Flash found himself in a difficult and inconvenient situation. Flash is hit by a shock wave while on a superhero mission to stop a tech thief. Barry is tasked by Singh with locating a gamma absorption array stolen from Mercury Labs. He tracks down the thief, Pytor Orloff, but the array blasts him, forcing him to age 30 years. Barry will age faster the more he uses his speed. While suffering from body pain and memory loss, he tries to catch Orloff. Chester deduces that Orloff’s objective is to become immortal by collecting energy from everyone in Central City and ageing them hundreds of years, when he and Cecile discover a laptop with his work. He turns on his contraption, but Barry is able to reverse the gamma field, inverting the energy charge and reversing Orloff and Barry’s modifications. Orloff has been sentenced to prison. Barry visits Caitlin at her apartment a week later and hears about her plot to resurrect Frost. Barry smashes her tools because she refuses to recognise that Frost is no longer alive.
