Murphy has some restrictions on her freedom. But now she has the chance to get revenge on Chloe and atone for her terrible deeds. In the seventh episode of the fourth season of In the Dark, which airs next week, we will have the incredible opportunity to find out one thing – what comes next after the trial. You get a decent idea of where Murphy’s mind is at and what she’s likely to have to do to get things done the proper way. Thanks to this two-part event, which is arguably one of the most critical in the entire series.

But the sad reality is that some of the obstacles she may face in the future will be rather difficult to overcome. The following brand-new episode is going to be named “C.I. Was Right,” and the majority of it is going to be devoted to showing you how the major trial’s events pan out. Meanwhile, Max (Casey Deidrich) is left reeling after the mess he made during Murphy’s trial. Morgan Krantz directed the episode written Amy Turner & Anna Fisher (406).

Josh is dispatched by Gene to locate the gun. On the witness stand, Chelsea claims that Murphy murdered her brother and that Ben got involved in their business. Chelsea also informs Leslie that Felix witnessed Murphy and Max having sexual relations the day before. Murphy misleads Leslie about Max, and her confession exposes her. Josh concludes that Felix might have hid the rifle in a church where there were virgin marys. Murphy panics because Leslie is needed but she can’t find her. In the restroom, Leslie is sobbing and contemplating Max. They discover a video of Felix entering the church. Gene locates the weapon. Leslie exits, leaving the courtroom. Murphy asks to take the witness stand. Murphy delivers an ardent speech. During cross-examination, the DA mentions the gun that was discovered at the church. Rewind to when they hid the bodies three months prior.

Felix doubled back, snatched the gun, cleaned it, and tucked it away. Muprhy feels she deserves to reveal the truth about Jess, despite Felix’s best efforts to persuade her otherwise. When Chloe’s mom is taking her out for lunch, Murphy contacts her and learns that she is in the hospital. Murphy finds out that Chloe overdosed when he visits the hospital. I took Bolt, Chloe. She hears that from Gene. Gene is informed by a barely awake Chloe that she needs him. Gene is informed by Murphy that she can assist with the Bolt case. With that, she hopes to negotiate a bargain. She claims that Felix and Max will find out, but he refutes her claim. Sarah is upset with Gene for cutting Murphy a bargain. They agree to the bargain and grant a mistrial. Murphy is informed by Max that he wishes to be with her. but she disagrees and Max visits Leslie once more.
