Felix consoles Murphy and makes efforts to encourage her to eat and engage in conversation with him. During the funeral, Murphy gives a speech. She has a soft spot in her heart for Max. Everybody attends Max’s funeral. Chloe attends the funeral in order to console Murphy and talk to him about the loss of her friend. At the funeral, Josh is present and smirks when he hears how irritated and furious Murphy is about losing. As soon as Murphy mentioned taking revenge, Josh’s unsettling smirk vanished, and he made a hasty exit from Max’s burial while planning his getaway. she makes a promise to track down whoever did this and make them pay.

Murphy decides to inquire with Jimmy McKay about who called him earlier that day to provide him with information. In exchange for the name, she proposes lending her support to McKay’s plan to argue that she was acting in self-defense. McKay tells her that Josh was the one who did it. Murphy wanted blood rather than calling the police about it. Felix finds out the truth from Murphy, and Murphy has to convince her not to go after Josh by telling her that Max wouldn’t want this for her. However, Murphy was in need of a purpose to continue alive, so she chose vengeance.

Murphy gets out of bed and grabs a butcher knife. She departs in the wee hours and visits Josh’s flat. She breaks in, but when she realizes Josh isn’t there, she becomes distraught and sobs. How did she expect to sneak up on Josh and stab him to death while he slept when she couldn’t even see? Felix visits Josh’s home to locate Murphy. He tells her where Josh might be since, after hearing what Murphy said, he went to a vacation home. She is taken there by Felix in his vehicle.

When Felix attempts to stop her after realizing what she is doing and intending, Josh appears with a gun and orders them to leave his land. He would have shot Murphy there and then if Felix hadn’t been present. Felix pushes him to the ground and wrests the rifle away. Josh rushes to Max’s car and makes an attempt to drive them over, but Felix manages to grab Josh’s gun and put him in a position where he is being held at gunpoint. But having Felix plead with Murphy not to kill Josh before leaving the cabin. Murphy is advised by Felix to pick him and their friendship over attempting to kill Josh because he needs her. Felix makes an effort to bring Murphy and Josh together for a conversation. Josh sobs while offering his apology. Murphy doesn’t trust him.

Felix walks away from the situation as Murphy keeps the gun. but Murphy ends it by stabbing Josh to death. Josh is now dead at his cabin, and Murphy’s prints are undoubtedly all over the place. She is now a killer, Then she runs away, throws away her clothing, and smokes. After Felix has picked her up, the two of them continue their journey into the sunset.

It was an emotionally and artistically beautiful hour.  Even after everything, Josh, the police, and other supposedly important people never learned that Jess actually shot Nia rather than Murphy. It was strange that Gene and Sarah didn’t even actually show up. But It was a comfort that Darnell survived the conclusion and that nothing negative came from Sarah’s cocky remark to Trey.
