One Piece Episode 1030 Recap

At the beginning of One Piece episode 1030, Uta and Shanks were having a conversation about Luffy’s risky behavior. Makino thanked the young girl for playing with Luffy, but Uta explained that she was only attempting to protect Shanks from Luffy’s insistence on becoming a Red Hair Pirate. Makino acknowledged Uta’s explanation and thanked the child. After a minute, Luffy arrived to do exactly that, pleading with Shanks to let him join them in their adventure. Almost quickly, Uta was successful in persuading Luffy to let go of her father and come play with her by the water. After the two children had departed, Makino inquired of Shanks concerning the departure time of his group from the Foosha Village. Shanks responded by saying that they would be leaving shortly but that they will return in order for Luffy and Uta to continue playing together.

While the adults conversed, Luffy and Uta competed in rowing. They were rowing towards an island, but sadly it turned out to be a huge sea monster, causing both kids to turn back before being eaten. After the sea monster had been defeated and the kids were safe, Uta began to make fun of Luffy for being terrified, which led the small boy to say that once he became a pirate, he would never be defeated again. Before telling him her goal of traveling with Shanks and writing songs that would one day alter the world, Uta asked Luffy why he wanted to be a pirate. She mentioned wanting to build a happy New Genesis for everyone. After the sea monster had been defeated and the kids were safe, Uta began to make fun of Luffy for being terrified, which led the small boy to say that once he became a pirate, he would never be beaten again. Before telling him her goal of traveling with Shanks and writing songs that would one day alter the world, Uta asked Luffy why he wanted to be a pirate. She mentioned wanting to build a happy New Genesis for everyone. Despite not knowing how to achieve it, Luffy pledged to contribute to the creation of a New Genesis.

Following that, One Piece Episode 1030 displayed the day the Red Hair Pirates left Foosha Village. When Uta discovered Luffy’s attempt to sneak aboard, she promised to assist him in persuading Shanks if he got stronger by the time they next crossed paths. Luffy promised his comrades that he would one day grow to be a powerful pirate before bidding them farewell. Luffy waited for the Red Hair Pirates to return after they left the Village each day, watching the horizon for any indication of their ship. Before Luffy eventually noticed the ship making its way back to Foosha Village, many days had passed. Unhappy to learn that Uta had been left behind, the young lad eagerly approached the ship to inquire about her latest exploits. At this point, Luffy grew dejected and fled, leaving Shanks on the pier of Foosha Village by himself and inconsolable.

In One Piece Episode 1030, a number of well-known characters from 12 years ago were also present, including Sanji, Usopp, Nami, Garp, and Sengoku. All of them were reading about how Tot Music inspired Shanks to demolish Elegia Island. Sengoku expressed disappointment with Shanks’ conduct and asserted that Roger must have been crying as a result of it. Beckman reached Luffy all the way to the back in Foosha Village and begged him to forget Shanks. But when Beckman also refused to inform him what had happened to Uta, Luffy was even more incensed. Sadly, two robbers attacked the youngster when he went to the locations where he and Uta used it to play every day. No matter how badly they hurt him, Luffy tried to show the robbers that he was a strong man by refusing to flee from them. Beckman ultimately came to his rescue when he used his Conqueror Haki to make the two robbers flee. Luffy stated he wanted to get strong as Beckman drove him all the way back to Foosha Village.

After recovering from his wounds, Luffy returned to Makino’s tavern in One Piece Episode 1030 to request permission from Shanks to join his group. But this time, Shanks was tempted to let Luffy board his ship because of the conviction in his eyes. Back in the present, the Straw Hat team begged Luffy to let them see Uta’s live performance. Despite not knowing the identity of his boyhood friend, Luffy told his companions they were going to Elegia’s concert. Uta was getting ready for her show while also discussing her desire to create a peaceful, musically-filled world on Elegia Island. Despite her decision to put Shanks out of her mind, she was still upset with him for leaving her behind.
