First, on May 9, in “Truth Be Told,” Max uncovers a major flaw in Veronica’s plan to buy the UMI medical facility, which could spell her doom. In addition, when Dr. Lauren Bloom (Janet Montgomery) heals two high school kids for life-threatening injuries, she uncovers a perilous situation. In addition, Dr. Floyd Reynolds (Jocko Sims) assists a brother and sister in dealing with a family issue.  Serwa (Jenny Jules) appears to be visiting Helen (Freema Agyeman).This has always been a tense relationship, so it will be interesting to see how it develops in this situation. This episode was directed by Jean E. Lee and written by  Shaun Cassidy, Brandy E. Palmer. On May 10 it’s about Iggy and Martin, Reynolds, Bloom and Leyla.

“You’ve exposed this hospital to criminal negligence,” Max tells Veronica in the preview for the next two episodes,19 and 20. How close is he going to get to “saving that hospital,” as Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman), who is recovering from a stroke, says he is?   “I can’t work with you anymore.” Dr. Iggy Frome (Tyler Labine) tells someone. Is he talking to Trevor (Ryan Faucett), whose interest in Iggy’s marriage has caused problems? Iggy did go to treatment in the last episode, but without his husband, Martin (Mike Doyle). New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 19 will release on Tuesday, May 9, 2022, on NBC from 10:03 PM – 11:00 PM. New Amsterdam will be available on Hulu and NBCUniversal’s own streaming platform Peacock the day after it airs on television. Note that only earlier seasons are available on the free edition of Peacock. Traditional cable/satellite pay-TV subscribers can watch New Amsterdam because it is an NBC show. A TV antenna can also take up local NBC stations. Of course, if you use newer live TV streaming providers. NBC is still prominent on major platforms including Fubo TV, Hulu with Live TVSling TV, Direct Stream, and YouTubeTV.

Helen is struggling with her therapy and is dissatisfied with her lack of improvement despite encouragement. Her speech therapist advises her to bring Max along to the session to assist her. Max also found a position at the hospital as a subcontractor. It aided in the payment of medical expenditures. It also gave him a voice on the board, which he planned to use against Veronica. Veronica was a huge issue. She was even going after folks with extortionate medical costs. They were discovered by Max. He intended to use it to bring her down. When Max runs into Veronica, he tells her about his plans to bring her down. He continues bringing up memories from Veronica’s past that she has already revealed. Floyd’s patient has decided not to return for a major procedure since he was charged thousands of dollars after insurance due of Floyd. Floyd offers his antique car and a free surgery in exchange for the patient’s return. Lauren is bothered by Leyla’s initial downpayment and by how things are between them. Lauren is irritated by Mia’s diagnosis of a patient who required contemporary medication. Juliet was dating Isaac, but after kissing several boys, she realized Isaac was the only one she wanted. Isaac doesn’t want her back, which irritates her.

Juliet and Isaac discuss their options and find a solution that works for them. Max tells other patients about Veronica in the aim of tarnishing her reputation, but Veronica seems unconcerned. Juliet publicly dumps Isaac, sending him into a tailspin. Helen fails to inform Max about the meeting, which is a problem. Lauren is furious when Kyle returns to Mia. But she soon sees she’s being harsh with Mia, and they discover Kyle has Celica’s disease. Lauren visits Mia for cupping and to feel better because her relationship with Leyla is not going well. Max makes his move on the board, and Veronica thinks she has him beat, but it was all a ruse to get her to buy the urgent care from him and Karen. Juliet finds she has complete control over her emotions. Iggy realizes he has a problem and seeks help from a therapist on his own. Helen explains why she was excluding Max and apologizes. They practice her words, and she performs well with them, and they have a pleasant interaction. Bloom also discovered from a new patient that what she adores could be killing her. So she took some time off and visited the Alternative Medicine Department.
