When does Knives Out 3 come out?
We do know that Netflix will be the home of the upcoming Knives Out 3 since, according to Collider, the streaming service purchased the rights to Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3 in March 2021 for $450 million. Johnson told Deadline before the release of Glass Onion that he will begin writing the script in 2023 since it is the “most interesting creative thing” he is working on at the moment. The sequel’s brief theatrical run began in November 2022 after the first film’s restricted release in November 2019. A gloomy prediction would be that the third film wouldn’t be released until November 2024/2025.
Producer Ram Bergman stated that while Johnson had the first Knives Out movie’s plot planned “for years in his head,” he “truly did not have an idea” for the second movie, Glass Onion. “[Johnson] is eager to move on to the next task as soon as feasible.
