The ninth episode served as the penultimate episode is called “…And the Night to Remember.”  Whatever takes place in this location is going to play a significant role in the conclusion of the story, as this is where the threads will almost certainly be connected. In this episode, we will see Tom keeps looking for the final piece of the capsule. He also learns some information about his childhood that he was never supposed to know. Meanwhile, Zenzi (Ashleigh Murray) and Isaac (Marquise Vilsón) uncover Congressmen Eskol’s (guest star Ward Horton) hidden agenda. Andi Behring directed the episode written by Erika Harrison.

The trio’s newest capsule retrieval is a disaster. Zenzi reminds Tom that they need more parts before saving Barton. Barclay must be restored. Tom deflects Zenzi’s request to talk to Isaac. Rowan is waiting for Tom outside. Rowan tells Tom about the blood. He says he’ll fix Barclay provided Tom saves Rowan’s family member Andrita Lehman. Rowan convinces Tom that Susannah leads The Road Back. Tom accepts and fills Zenzi and Isaac’s seats. Andrita has been offline for a month, he learns. They find Andrita’s house ransacked. Andrita is on maternity leave. She’s never met Rowan. When The Road Back arrives, Tom and Isaac update her. Andrita says they must split up, with Rowan staying with her and the infant with Zenzi, Tom, and Isaac. Isaac messages Tom at the manor that Andrita is safe and he wants to speak. When Rowan comes, Tom asks the infant about Isaac. Rowan comforts the infant and doesn’t inform Tom about Andrita.

Tom passes Rowan the baby while he, Zenzi, and Isaac meet to the FBI. Isaac and Zenzi’s men interrogate the group about Andrita. Zenzi phones Eskol her “lawyer,” delivering a veiled ultimatum. Tom’s representative tries to swindle him. Tom’s comment regarding Quantico proves they’re not FBI. When they disable the security, a third man appears in the entryway. Zenzi is trapped in Tom’s lighting bomb to disarm them. Tom and Isaac save Zenzi after hiding Rowan. In the pandemonium, Rowan was harmed. The third guy has the baby. Tom saves the infant with clever tech. They plan to safeguard Andrita. Isaac and Tom are awkward, so Zenzi suggests they talk. Tom and Isaac clarify things before dropping off Andrita. They’re not romantically involved. When they almost kissed, Isaac was wondering about someone else. Andrita thanks, Rowan. Tom informs her she can live safely in hiding and that Swift Industries will fund her work.

Eskol reveals The Road Back to Zenzi. He wants her help to join her. By mentioning Susannah, he shows faith. She knows but appreciates his honesty. As they kiss, Zenzi misses Isaac’s call. Later, he confesses his love to Zenzi, who can’t reciprocate. Isaac’s moment is shattered by Eskol. Tom fixes Barclay and thanks Rowan for Andrita. Tom questions Rowan’s deception. Rowan thought Tom wouldn’t aid him. Tom pleads for faith and says Rowan opens him up. Rowan’s wounds make Tom drop his shirt to assist. The shirt contains a wound-healing ingredient. Rowan maintains his covering is still intact as he watches security cam footage from earlier. The episode concludes with a shot of a listening gadget.
