Tom Swift Episode 2 Synopsis: SECRETS – When Tom (Tian Richards) discovers that an important piece of the mission to save his father is on the grounds of a family frenemy’s estate, he’s forced to make a tough choice – woo them with the most awkward dinner known to man. But Tom is shocked when that dinner of errors reveals a dark secret from Tom’s past that even Zenzi (Ashleigh Murray) didn’t know. Zenzi and Tom venture into a dangerous mine to find the next capsule piece, but the only question – is their friendship strong enough to survive the secrets they’ve kept from each other. Marquise Vilson, Albert Mwangi and April Parker Jones also star. Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Cameron Johnson (#102).

Tom Swift Season 1 Episode 2 will premiere on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CWTV with new episodes, airing weekly on Tuesdays. The show will then be available to stream on the CW app and website the following day, June 1st.
Tom Swift Season 1 Episode 1 Recap
Tom does not appear mature enough for his disapproving father, who does not believe Tom is ready to take over Swift Enterprises. When Tom, in a room surrounded by his father’s best friends and allies, sees his spacecraft explode during a live webcast of a high-profile mission to Saturn. Tom is overcome with grief and guilt, but when he discovers that the explosion occurred outside of the ship, he goes into full-on heist mode, enlisting the help of his inner circle cousins Zenzi (Ashleigh Murray) and Lino (Donovin Miller), as well as bodyguard Isaac (Marquise Vilson) to retrieve vital information in order to uncover who killed his father. It’s a near call, but Tom manages to recover the data and escape alive, owing in large part to Rowan’s help (Albert Mwangi).
Not only does Congressman Eskel’s (Ward Horton) bodyguard assist Tom in avoiding capture, but he also tells him that he is being monitored by some strong adversaries. The intrigue develops when Eskel discovers that the company that produced the ship-destroying missile is owned by him. Furthermore, it is a front for an Illuminati-scale group named The Road Back, which seeks to halt humanity’s technological growth. Tom then discovers that not only is his father alive, but that he has also sent a capsule to Earth containing important information on how to save him! Sure, the capsule disassembles when it reenters the atmosphere, but that’s simply an excuse for Tom and his crew to go on a road trip. Eskel has hijacked Tom’s A.I. Barclay (voiced by LeVar Burton), and his entire crew probably including Rowan is dedicated to protecting Tom from learning their plans.
