Because Catherine will be moving to a new location in the next chapter of this novel, there will be some adjustments made to the way certain things are handled. It’s possible that motherhood will play a significant role in her life. It’s going to take it to a whole new level. Catherine has successfully given birth to a child. While out hunting with Henri and Catherine, King Francis is thrown off his horse and sustains injuries. The Serpent Queen, which was made by Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment, will supposedly exclusively air on Starz. No information has been released about the show’s availability on other (VOD) video-on-demand services to date. On the review site Rotten Tomatoes, 11 reviews from critics have received an overall approval rating of 100% and a 7.9/10 scale.

Catherine shows up in time to save Rahima punishment even though Nathalie has lost one eye. Mary, Queen of Scots, Catherine’s widowed daughter-in-law, swears not to let “that Italian witch” Catherine rule through her son Charles. Henri’s wartime letters make young Catherine swoon, so when he returns with his Italian mistress Filippa Duci and infant daughter Diane, she is upset. In order to safeguard their future, Diane de Poitiers banishes Filippa and her child and agrees to help Catherine conceive. His father is pleased with Henri’s military accomplishments in Italy, and the king is proud of Catherine for orchestrating the alliance. Bourbon advises Francois that Catherine suffer a “accident” in order to cut off France’s troublesome links to Italy. Catherine is ambushed by attackers, but she gets away. When Catherine asks Ruggieri for assistance getting pregnant, he mentions a future cost that must be paid and gives her a book of potions.

While playing racquetball with Henry, his younger brother who is now more physically fit, the Dauphin Francois passes away abruptly from natural causes. But Sebastio is responsible for the Dauphin’s passing due to two things. One, just before the occasion, a bored Catherine requests that he bring the prince some wine. Sebastio’s studio contains Ruggeri’s book on poisonous mushrooms. Sebastio asks Catherine to advocate on his behalf, but she declines. The dressmaker is then torn apart by four horses, which was the typical medieval punishment for regicide. The price for Sebastio’s execution is Catherine getting pregnant. Her remaining followers worry about their security.
