Fox’s “The Resident” premiered on Fox in 2018 and was just renewed for a fifth season. The medical drama depicts the turbulent lives of Chastain Park Memorial Hospital staff members. A brand new trailer for Fox’s medical drama “The Resident Season 5,” published on Monday features plenty of danger and a noticeable absence of VanCamp. Emily VanCamp’s real-life pregnancy was incorporated into her storyline in Season 4, with actress character Nic giving birth to a daughter in the season finale. The gloomy Season 5 trailer, on the other hand, teases some surprising turns, including a scene in which two police officers arrive to bring some obviously dreadful news to Nic’s husband, Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry), and their young daughter.
After four seasons as Nicolette “Nic” Played by Emily VanCamp is departing the show. According to Variety, there is a chance that she will return to the series in some capacity. The Resident Season 5 of the show premieres on September 21 on Fox.
The Resident Season 5 Poster
Matt Czuchry’s Conrad Hawkins appears alone in an operating room, back turned toward us, in the exclusive Season 5 poster shown above with the phrase “Healing starts within.” The official slogan teased that the doctors would continue to save people once more. Meanwhile, the fight against healthcare system corruption and injustice will continue. Meanwhile, showrunner Peter Elkoff hinted that the new episodes would be more focused on the hospital’s reforms. Nothing will be the same in Chastain after the outbreak of a major Medicare fraud scheme.
“Old relationships will be tested, new ones formed, and the emergence of a widespread Medicare fraud scheme ensures Chastain will never be the same.” according to the new episode. Read more articles www.tvacute.com.
