Fox’s “The Resident” premiered on Fox in 2018 and was just renewed for a fifth season. The medical drama depicts the turbulent lives of Chastain Park Memorial Hospital staff members. A brand new trailer for Fox’s medical drama “The Resident Season 5,” published on Monday features plenty of danger and a noticeable absence of VanCamp. Emily VanCamp’s real-life pregnancy was incorporated into her storyline in Season 4, with actress character Nic giving birth to a daughter in the season finale. The gloomy Season 5 trailer, on the other hand, teases some surprising turns, including a scene in which two police officers arrive to bring some obviously dreadful news to Nic’s husband, Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry), and their young daughter.
