Angie consults Kayla as she mulls over her decision to meet Marcus. Jordi appears uninterested, his attention drawn instead to the forthcoming prom. Jordi admits that she was planning a surprise for Angie to be her prom date, and Angie almost breaks up with her. Alice overhears Gigi and Nat enjoying brunch together, and despite her best efforts, she ends up having sex with Nat in her car. They later part up when Alice notices Nat flirting with another woman and understands Nat will never change. Dani tells Gigi that seeing Finley and Sophie together damaged her and that she only wants to be friends with her for the time being. Bette follows Pippa and eventually persuades her to join her company. Finley approaches Dani at a charity poker game at “Dana’s” to make amends, but Dani rejects her. Carrie arrives at the poker game alone, as Tina is away, and tells Shane that she feels alienated from the group because she can’t get along with Bette, recalling her school days when she was bullied for being a lesbian. Carrie is comforted by Shane, who urges her to take it slowly.

Carrie approaches Bette with the suggestion that they attempt to be more respectful to one other for the sake of Tina and Angie, but Bette dismisses her harshly and cruelly before departing with Pippa. Carrie becomes inebriated and depressed to the point where Shane and Tess have to carry her home, and she admits that she is not ready to marry Tina. Bette brings Pippa to an artist’s exhibition, where they have intercourse. Shane and Tess exchange a kiss as the weather turns stormy. Dani visits Gigi’s residence and reveals that, while she likes her, she is unsure whether or not she can trust her, given her recent relationships with Nat, Alice, and Bette. Gigi assures Dani that things will be different and the two kiss. Sophie gets inebriated and begs Finley to take her home, but it’s hinted that Finley has had more alcohol than Sophie is aware of. They are stopped by sirens on their way home.
