Eva De Dominici plays Nadia Morales, who is one of the most important characters in THE CLEANING LADY. In the first season, De Dominici played a figure who showed up from time to time. Nadia Morales, Arman’s (Adan Canto) wife, quickly became an important part of the story. She and her husband ran the exclusive cigar club La Habana. Many story twists have been based on Nadia’s character, especially with how her husband and Thony (Élodie Yung) interact with each other.
In Season 2, De Dominici was made a series regular, which meant that her character could be a bigger part of the show’s intense action. In the last episodes, Nadia was killed brutally by Ramona Sanchez (Kate del Castillo), the leader of the gang. With Thony and Fiona’s help, Nadia was able to get away from the gang and seemed ready for a new start. She had a new name, a lot of money, and plans to leave her old life behind. It looked like she would finally be free. But when Ramona showed up out of the blue, these dreams were dashed. When Ramona faced Nadia, she showed her hatred and then stabbed her, killing her. It was clear that Nadia had died. Her body was later found on Agent Russo’s front door, which meant that her character’s story was over.
Is Eva De Dominici leaving The Cleaning Lady?
Now that Nadia’s death has been proven, it makes us wonder if Eva De Dominici is leaving THE CLEANING LADY. Even though she hasn’t officially left, the dramatic end to her character’s storyline makes it seem likely that Nadia won’t be back as a regular on the show. But TV shows are unpredictable, and her character might come back in some way through flashbacks or other creative ways of telling the story.
The way Eva De Dominici played Nadia gave the show depth and energy.
