SWAT Season 6 Episode 2 Recap

On a boat, Hondo and his military companion have their hands restrained. Street, Luca, and the rest of the group raided a restaurant in Los Angeles in search of their missing squad leader, who is thought to be in Thailand. Hondo and Joe are being held at gunpoint after authorities bust a heroin business. Hondo, Deacon, and Tan are in Bangkok practicing with another SWAT unit before to the inaugural ceremonies. Hondo departs to visit Joe in the north with Nichelle. Hondo mentions a drug case from his native country during the visit, and Joe volunteers to tag along. The two accidentally cross the heroin operation after Joe tells Hondo about the Ghost Man, the drug lord. And a man Joe believed to be dead is actually still alive. After being quickly apprehended and fired at, they jump off a bridge to flee while floating down a river. Hicks can’t reach Hondo, but he has information about the heroin factory. After they exit the water, Joe admits that he was shot. Joe desires to continue going, but they are forced to because they have been discovered. After finding a phone, Hondo calls Deacon.

The signal drops, but not until Deacon can hear that Hondo is in peril. A young boy approaches Hondo and Joe and informs them that his brothers are being taken prisoner and that anyone attempting to escape will be killed. The young child refuses to leave his brothers despite Hondo’s best efforts to persuade him to go with them. They are stopped as they start to depart but are still able to escape in their car. In order to assist in the search for Hondo, Deacon and Tan are granted authority with the Thai S.W.A.T. team. Someone with connections to the operation is being questioned by Street, Luca, and Hicks. Although Joe and Hondo have already left, Deacon and Tan discover the jeep they were travelling in. When Deacon sees Hondo’s watch on a man, he informs the group that the Ghost Man has taken them. A man who was participating in the operation is questioned by the LA SWAT team after they break into the eatery. After a shootout, the Thai S.W.A.T. squad locates the area and moves in, but Hondo is still looking for the youngster since they kidnapped him. They return to safety because there is nothing more they can do at this time. Both the procedure and the child have ended. However, Deacon and Tan as well as Hondo are staying so they may search for him.
