Outlander Season 7 Episode 4 Recap

The plot involving Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) continues to take place in the 1770s in Outlander‘s seventh season. Brianna, Roger, and their kids, on the other hand, have experienced a large time jump and are currently residing in 1980s Scotland. This begs the question of how the program will deal with additional time travel from Brianna and Roger’s perspective.

As it appears unlikely that Bree and Roger will stay in the future indefinitely, it is assumed that the subject of time travel will come up again. Outlander Season 7’s “A Most Uncomfortable Woman” episode sees the development of various plot lines.  (tvacute.com) We have a recap of Outlander season 7 Episode 4 in case you missed the exciting conclusion.

Outlander Season 7 Episode 4 Recap

Lallybroch is being renovated by Brianna and Roger, but they are out of money to finish the job. Brianna thinks about using Jamie’s secret treasure, but she wants the kids to grow up normally. Jemmy, their son, on the other hand, is prone to lying and attributing his naughty conduct to supernatural animals.

William Ransom (Charles Vandervaart), Jamie’s son by another woman, now comes into focus. While serving England, he gets hurt in a combat and is found in the woods. Young Ian rescues him and brings him to Denzell Hunter, a doctor, and Rachel, his sister. In order to preserve William’s life once his wound grows infected, Denzell considers amputating his arm. A bubble of pus, however, escapes from the wound and prevents the need for an amputation. William stays with the Hunters during his extended rehabilitation.

When Jamie is drafted to fight for the rebellion, Claire and Jamie’s preparations to go back to Scotland are put on hold. When she learns that rebel forces are assembling at Fort Ticonderoga, Claire resolves to travel there as a doctor. They learn that Tom Christie, who Claire thought was dead, is still alive and well in Wilmington. He extends an invitation to Claire for tea, and despite the awkwardness of their exchange, it seems to pique both Claire and Jamie’s interest. They experience a heated exchange.

By the time the episode is complete, William has healed from his wound, and Rachel announces that she and her brother are heading to Fort Ticonderoga to take part in the war for independence. As Jamie and Claire travel to New York, William offers to travel with them, and it is implied that a confrontation between William and Jamie is imminent.
