Chicago PD Season 10 Episode 12 Recap

In this episode, Sean had been bombarding Hailey’s (Tracy Spiridakos) phone with calls from prison and even called on her landline in an attempt to get through to the intelligence officer. He gave the reason that he had information on their most recent case involving a mother who had been kidnapped in front of her son. Naturally, Sean’s assistance was conditional. He wouldn’t divulge such vital details unless Hailey consented to a deal. She would see him once a week, and he would serve as her informant. She accepted the deal because Intelligence had nothing to go on up until that point.

Hailey instantly regretted it as Sean, acting as a covert agent for them in the jail, provided explicit details about one of his victims who was a minor in order to compel their main suspect to divulge additional information. When Hailey showed her disapproval of what he was doing, Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) reaffirmed that Sean was no longer able to harm that girl. Eventually, intelligence located their abducted woman alive, learning new information that suggested her father was engaged in some dubious activity. However, as the father and daughter remained silent, the matter was finally resolved. After that, Hailey called Staff Sgt. Baxter (Jason Powell) inquired about her husband. When she learned that Jay had requested an extension of his current tour, she sobbed uncontrollably.

Later, Hailey went to see Sean in jail to break their agreement. The detective would never visit him again. Hailey told him, “I can’t have you in my life.” “It’s not right. It’s not for me. I’m done.” Sean is the perfect person to ask because he is aware of just which threads to pull. He said That’s a good speech. It’s simply that you’re giving it to the wrong person.
