9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 5 Recap

The latest episode of 9-1-1 was all about Buck’s journey as he dealt with the fallout from his big kiss with Tommy. From a terrible first date to deep talks with Maddie and Eddie, Buck learned things about himself that he hadn’t known before. The bad first date between Buck and Tommy was the start of the show. It quickly turned awkward. Even though Tommy tried to reassure Buck, his nerves got the best of him. The evening ended quickly and in a way that made everyone cringe. After that, Buck’s talks with Maddie and Eddie were both funny and touching. Eddie’s unwavering acceptance of Buck’s date with a guy shows how close they are as friends, and Maddie’s positive response shows how close they are as siblings.

Eddie’s relationship with Marisol got tough when he found out that she had wanted to become a nun in the past. Eddie and Marisol were hesitant at first, but in the end they decided to take things slowly and think about their relationship again. At the same time, Hen and Karen started a new journey as foster parents to Mara, a troubled kid who had been through a lot. As they tried to figure out what was going on with Mara, they learned the sad truth about her parents’ overdose and her fear of losing her new family. At the end of the show, Buck offered Tommy an olive branch, which could mean a new start in their relationship. But the fact that Maddie and Chimney were getting married soon made it seem like trouble was on the way, which set the stage for a tense future show.
