Meemaw afterward gave Sheldon and Missy some money each, and they went on to plan how they would spend it. Geoge, learned that the boosters were considering his friend and coach Wayne for the position of head coach. As a result, he decided to look for work in order to be prepared. He first went to visit Sheldon’s principal at his institution to interview for the role of a head football coach. It was the same job he had previously turned down, but this time he discovered the college no longer had a football team. Later, in the bar, Dale offered George a position at his store so that he could take a break from the labor. To get experience, George began working at Dale’s store at night and on weekends.
