Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 17 Recap

Meemaw went out for drinks in the afternoon to cope with her recent breakup with Dale and pretended to be fine about it. Mary, on the other hand, knew she wasn’t feeling well and had to accompany her to the pub to ensure she didn’t get herself into any difficulty. Meanwhile, instead of focusing about their future, Dale was continuously talking about the dumb yellow automobile Meemaw bought, and George had to listen to him all day. Sheldon, on the other hand, ran into an old acquaintance Paige while waiting in line for a lecture she was giving. She later went to his dorm to hang out and was astonished to learn that he had made friends with the boys next door as well. She eventually departed, and Sheldon had no idea why, but his dormmates informed him that she wasn’t doing so well. Georgie, on the other hand, revealed his true age to Mandy, who was enraged that he had lied about it and ordered him to leave. Later, during dinner, the atmosphere was somewhat tumultuous, since Mary was inebriated, and everyone discovered that Georgie was dating an elderly Meemaw woman.

Paige returned to Sheldon’s dorm the next day with all of her belongings and requested for assistance because she needed a somewhere to stay for a bit. She was frustrated that she couldn’t get anything out of college because she hadn’t made any friends and was considering dropping out. Sheldon decided to let her remain and went out of his way to make her feel better by putting together a care package for her with Missy’s assistance. Despite Missy’s decision to inform Mary that Paige was ill, they all rushed to see her, but she was gone. Sheldon discovered a note from her thanking him for his assistance, and she returned to her mother a few days later. Georgie, on the other hand, was made aware that he had done a wrong thing by lying to Mandy, and he went to speak with her. He was, however, taken aback when she informed him that she was expecting a child.
