Walker Season 3 Episode 4 Recap

Four people approach a no-trespassing fence. They leave and free the horses inside the fence. Bonham prepares breakfast at Walker Ranch. Liam discusses starting horse therapy, Augie is furious he can’t have the bigger room, and Cordell informs Stella he got her a position at the Side Step with Geri. Bonham discusses Liam’s pain with Cordell as he leaves. Bonham says he was prepared as a marine to withstand imprisonment, but Liam was not. Cassie and Captain James discuss Cordell at the Ranger station. Cordell returns to work. The Texas flag reminds him of his Marine Sargent. At the station briefing, Larry reveals Trey’s last week of teaching and gives him horse case point. Trey chats to the FBI agent on scene. After the talk, Trey says they’ll stakeout to catch the perpetrators. Corrals are idle. Homeward bound. Cassie visits Captain James and notices Cordell mentioned something in the car that disturbed them, but Trey interrupts. The group releasing horses drinks coffee before hitting a corral. He thinks they’re going to a corral with more coffee trucks.

Larry and Cordell drive to Cassie and Trey at the coffee truck. Even though Larry tells him to stay there, Trey gets in the trailer when the gang leaves. When they reach the corral, Larry instructs Trey not to wait if he can stop them. After drawing his revolver, he locks several in the horse trailer, but one escapes on an ATV. Trey rides after him, but Cordell, Cassie, and Larry stop him. The man is apprehended. Trey apologises for defying a direct order, but Larry says Cordell and Cassie would have done the same. They applaud his training success. Augie expresses his concerns to Stella as she drops him off at school. She tells him she has no life goals. Stella works at the Side Step, and Geri informs her she’ll have to decrease Augie’s weekend hours to add Stella’s. Geri informs Stella about Emily and discusses the future. Geri tells Stella over disco fries about how her mom got into problems with her, Cordell, and Hoyt, but Emily never got caught. 9/11 changed Emily’s mind about law school. Geri advises Stella to take her time to decide. Stella picks Augie up with the bobblehead. Stella feels Augie should learn to drive from her. Liam tries to ignore the therapist at equine treatment, but the horse rejects him.

Chelsea, his therapist, says horses can sense his energy and are mad. He agrees. Liam informs Chelsea about Cordell going undercover as Cactus still rejects him. Liam wishes his brother could talk. Liam feeds Cactus a carrot and pets him. After riding him, Chelsea tells Liam that she’s moving away and will send him to other equine therapists, but to find a way to keep doing this. After seeing how much treatment is helping Liam, Cordell gives him some horses at the ranch. Liam suggests Stella help him build a rescue centre. In a heart-to-heart, Cordell encourages Liam to be patient, while Liam tells Cordell he can’t keep counting on him to improve. Cordell claims Cassie and Larry were worried at the station. Cordell shows Cassie the flag Sargent Clay Cooper “Coop” owned in the basement. Cordell left the Marines when his mentor and best buddy perished in combat. Cassie discusses the flag with Cordell. Coop’s mother hosts Cassie and Cordell. He sets the flag on a shelf near to a photo of Coop and leaves the living room while waiting for her. He assures Cassie.
