And when he’s on the swings, Kate and Toby are giggling and pushing him. we see everyone prepare for Miguel and Rebecca’s 10th-anniversary cookout at Toby and Kate’s. Miguel turns off the house’s water. Kate and Toby start yelling. And Rebecca, enraged and follows Jack into his room to put on his shoes.

Jack tells her in his room that he wears rain boots to the park on Saturdays. He often expresses his sadness, claiming that “Mommy and Daddy are always mad.” In the backyard, Beth delivers Toby a coconut drink and says that the long-distance was hard on her and Randall, but they made it. Toby, standing at the smoker. Kevin and Randall arrive two hours early to pick up the twins, but Madison is about to drop them off at music class. So they stay to chat with Elijah. To make Kevin feel better, Randall tells him they’ll just drive around until any grand romantic gestures leave his brain. In the end, Kevin is thrilled for Madison when he learns she is eager about marrying Elijah. She assures him that their bond as parents of twins would last a lifetime, and she will be there for him whenever he needs her.

Let us take a moment to flashback to when The Big Three were 6 years old. Jack and Rebecca are celebrating their anniversary with a lavish supper and a babysitter. Rebecca is excited about dressing up and drinking fancy cocktails; Jack is more excited about their anniversary sex while the kids are asleep. Rebecca, on the other hand, drinks three absurdly named drinks. the babysitter calls the restaurant. the kids locked the sitter. Mom and Dad rush home, she inebriated and rambling, he irritated by the kids’ misbehavior. Everything is forgiven as Kevin and Randall explain they were only defending Kate. Later, when Rebecca has sobered and the kiddos are asleep between her and Jack on their bed.

Let’s go back to the Damon house, which is absolutely falling apart. The leak enters the bedroom ceiling, forcing everyone to flee. The chaos causes Toby to forget to close the clasp on Jack’s gate. Kate also fails to lock the front door after the plumber, which will prove costly later. While the parents are busy, Jack is singing “Saturday in the Park” to himself, he is lucky to be crossing a two-lane road safely. When everyone returns home, they learn Jack is gone. Kate, Toby, Miguel, Rebecca, and Beth frantically investigate the area. Kate phones the cops. Rebecca notices Jack’s rain boots and exclaims that he’s probably headed for the park. In the meantime, Rebecca chases her grandson. She arrives just after Jack falls, leaving him with a cut on the top of his head. This is the one that his future wife, Lucy, talked about in a flashback earlier this season. Rebecca takes the boy in her arms and cuddles him.

In the end, Kevin and Randall have returned home from the hospital and joined the fight. “Watch how you talk to her,” Kevin tells his brother-in-law to back up. Toby is also told by Randall to cease doing what he’s doing. Toby grins sadly as he looks at The Big Three. “There you have it. He says, “This is perfect the way it’s always been.” Toby goes inside, sits by Jack’s bedside, and sobs. Outside, Kate informs Kevin and Randall that Jack went to the park “because Mommy and Daddy are happy there.” Kate sobbed and her brothers clasps her hands.
