The Rookie Season 4 Episode 19 Recap

When a runner comes across an open gate, a strange and terrifying man with a knife behind his back tries to persuade him to enter. However, he and his girlfriend depart. Nolan and Lucy travel together, and he mentions Bailey’s absence, unaware that they had effectively moved in together. Lucy and Nolan respond to the same spot due to the suspicious nature of the situation and discover a bomb. They flee just before the building goes up in flames. The FBI’s Matt and Casey arrive on the site to discuss what transpired. The feds want to take control and collaborate on an investigation. Angela and Harper are riding together. Meadows claims that an alien broke into his house and took his book, so they go to his house call.

They question the pair, who describe a probable Russian man with a scar, but they also obtain prints for a black man, implying that it could be a terror cell. When they go to the suspect’s house, he isn’t there, but his guidance counsellor is a trainee at the FBI school, so they go to speak with her. Simone is lightning fast but never makes a mistake. Her teacher informs her she isn’t FBI material, but a chopper arrives in Quantico to pick her up and transport her to Los Angeles due to her former student, Zeke. They bring Simone there, and she hears the briefing and strongly opposes the profiler’s assessment of Zeke, but they reject her lack of skills and pedigree as a former guidance counsellor and want to return her to Quantico. WHY were they even bringing her there? Nolan converses with Simone, and she joins him on his ride. He offers her advise based on his experience as the oldest in their field. They discover Zeke, who claims that if they take him in, a man will kill him. They try to ship Simone away once more, but Zeke claims he won’t speak to anyone else.

Because of his sensory overload, she creates a healthier environment for him, and she and Nolan speak with him, learning that he utilized his technical abilities to develop bombs on the dark web and provided them to a man he mistook for a research analyst, only to discover too late that he was a terrorist. Simone vows she’ll find him a lawyer and assist him, even if it means alienating her FBI colleagues. Meadows, who is a true urban planner and may be onto something, keeps contacting Harper and Angela. They discover that the terrorist destroyed the grid in order to gain access to the armoury and all of the weapons. The site is infiltrated by Bailey and her army reserve team. They had to box the guy in when he flees in one of the humvees. But it was the man who was being blackmailed by the suspect. Simone visits her father, the chairman of a defunding police agency, who no longer speaks to her because of her career choice. She relies on him to assist Zeke. Simone’s father is anti-police because he was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit.

They have a discussion about it. Because the terrorist got away with numerous kilos of C4, the FBI claims they’re taking over fully. Grey isn’t pleased with this. Meadows Place is where they print and classify their prints. Harper does some research and discovers that there is a link to Area 51. Simone assists Harper and Angela with their investigation and discovers that the two cases are linked. The terrorist is the individual who broke into Meadows’ house and took his city designs. They ultimately added Simone to the task force in order to figure out where their suspect was hanging out. He may have served in the CIA, according to IT. He loads bombs onto five different vans and has the drivers drive them along routes he devised using Meadows’ traffic data. He intends to destroy LA’s infrastructure by destroying its roadways.
