Finally, The Good Doctor Season 6‘s first trailer has arrived, and it seems that Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) may not be the only one who needs to worry.
Although the new video’s cheerful opening shows newlyweds Dr. Shaun (Freddie Highmore) and Lea (Paige Spara) dancing together romantically on the hospital’s roof, things quickly turn spooky. Dr. Morgan (Fiona Gubelmann) and Dr. Wolke are among the hostages held by Owen – Villanueva’s aggressive and horrible ex-boyfriend, who claimed to be a flower delivery man to enter St. Bonaventure and stabbed Lim and the nurse. (Noah Galvin). Lea urges Shaun to stay upstairs, but he counters, Dr. Lim may need my help.

Lim was stabbed and left bleeding out as everyone celebrated Shaun and Lea’s wedding in Season 5, but happily, it sounds like we won’t need to worry too much about her passing away. However, while we wait to learn what this hostage situation is shown in the promo means for Lim, we may focus on how it ends. We do know that Brandon Larracuente and Savannah Welch will portray two new interns in Season 6. A hidden pilot for The Good Lawyer, a prospective spinoff, will also be included in one of the episodes.

Richard Schiff (Dr. Aaron Glassman), Will Yun Lee (Dr. Alex Park), Hill Harper (Dr. Marcus Andrews), and Bria Samoné Henderson are also featured in the ABC medical drama (Dr. Jordan Allen).
The Good Doctor Season 6 will release on Monday, October 3, at 10/9c on ABC.
