Jackie played by Tony-winning actress Laurie Metcalf hasn’t been seen for a long time. They write her now as if she’s ill. It’s really sad. There was no reason why Dan’s new wife, Louise, didn’t show up last night (Katey Sagal). Sagal was seen on crutches in November after he was hit by a car, so he had to use them. Louise is going to Michigan to visit her aunt or something like that.

Dan (John Goodman) opposes Harris (Emma Kenney) moving in with Aldo (guest star Tony Cavalero), and Aldo’s father, Jesse (guest star Joe Walsh), concurs. It was the best part of the show.
There might have been no show if it didn’t have such a big cast. As it is, these actors cost a lot of money. A lack of a stellar cast might have led to the show’s cancellation sooner. We don’t know if “The Conners” will be back for a fifth and last season.
