Dr. Laken Perillos (Laverne Cox) hasn’t been seen since Season 8 when she was in jail for helping Neville Townsend (and, technically, Elizabeth Keen). I’ve tried to put out of my mind the harrowing episode where the “Brazen Bull” Blacklister brutally tortured Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) and Red (James Spader). Now that the woman who employs a “heretic fork” has returned.
Dr. Perillos is currently serving his sentence in a prison hospital. The warden just informed her that the requested supplies had arrived, but the warden and two guards had to accept the delivery personally from Wujing’s men. This is an extremely violent jailbreak. Later, after Perillos has showered and gotten dressed, Wujing formally introduces himself to him. That they made an effort to have her nails done makes me happy. That was an elaborate set with a pattern. She may be a happy psychopath, but her sense of style is impeccable. But, at the end of the episode, When Laverne Cox‘s character, Perillos, is slain off-screen by Wujing, this episode also served as her farewell. Inside the core of her performance as the sadist was a beautiful emotional anguish that she brought to life. First off, NBC has given us a title for Episode 7 of Season 10 of The Blacklist. The writers have dubbed Episode 7 “THE FREELANCER: PART 2,” and it sounds like the revelation of a conspiracy will lead to some scandalous, intense, dramatic, interesting, and possibly action-filled scenes. One reaches a personal landmark, and more besides. One of the original Blacklisters who returned in season 8 will play a significant role this year as a freed criminal thanks to Wujing. In other words, The Freelancer will be making an appearance again. A local photographer’s conspiracy will be uncovered when that occurs.

He will be shown accomplishing something new and significant to him in his upcoming scenes. We just hope that Donald will soon have a satisfying personal narrative of his own. After losing Liz and struggling with his addiction for so long, the man has earned this. We are relieved that he seems to have passed through this phase.
