Supergirl season 6, episode 9 Spoilers:

The action sequences aren’t the focus of Supergirl season 6, episode 9. It centers on Kelly’s employment as a social worker, leading to a case that calls for Super Friends. The episode takes place in a foster home where one of the alien children, Joey (guest star Aiden Stoxx), is acting up because of something going on with his incarcerated older brother, Orlando. Nia (Nicole Maines), meanwhile, spends a lot of time dreaming. The characters get an opportunity to flourish and grow, which is much needed. Finally, Dansen lovers will love this episode. Some great sequences showing the healthy, complex, and lovely relationship they have. If the show keeps this up, these last few episodes could be among Supergirl’s greatest. This may be one of the best episodes ever.

Supergirl Season 6 Episode 8 Recap

The previous episode 8 began with Supergirl’s return home. It was all tears and smiles when Karan reunited with her friends. Kara resumes her normal routine and job. Her father is also introduced to her life during this procedure. Since then, a lot has changed: Catco has set his sights higher, and Andrea has tasked Kara with investigating the phantom invasion and its victims. She was unable to attend the event due to her absence. She is disappointed that she is to blame, but she also needs to get back to work while Zor-El learns human customs.

That is until Zor-El spots a satellite heading straight towards Earth. He and Kara join forces to put a stop to it and dump it on a garbage island. Only to understand how the dumps of Lex Corp and other companies are endangering the Earth’s seas. It’s the same way Krypton was approaching its doom, Zor-El realizes. Kara is told to stay at Phantom’s while William is given the garbage story.

Zor-El wants to aid Earth’s oceans, while J’onn brings up larger issues that have restarted the fire on the same island. So Zor-El has a plan and wants Kryptonian technology. Kara transports him to the Fortress Of Solitude, and Zor-El returns with Oscar, an enhanced Kelex. J’onn, on the other hand, cautions Zor-El of a possible unknown and deadly waste nearby. Zor-El believes in his invention, including Kryptonite.
