Sistas Season 4 Episode 8 Recap

Karen aggressively announced her pregnancy to Fatima and then lied to Zac’s new girlfriend about him phoning her every day. Karen sought to get under Fatima’s skin by yelling obscenities about Zac’s fatherhood. Karen questioned whether Fatima was threatening her, but Fatima claimed only time would tell if her relationship with Zac would work out. Danni then pointed out that Fatima was merely saying it to cheer Karen up. She believes Zac has a crush on Fatima, and Fatima admits she has a crush on him as well. Danni agreed, adding that a paternity test from Karen would be prudent. Fatima was irritated saying that if Karen was finished, she could leave. Andi, on the other hand, was not about to let Karen off the hook so easily. Karen finally maned up, apologized, and admitted she’d lied about Zac phoning her to hurt Fatima but it didn’t work.

Fatima was moved by Karen’s candor and maturity, and she said that she understood Karen’s rage. Karen accepted Fatima’s pledge that if the kid is Zac’s, she will never mistreat it. Danni stopped Fatima in her tracks and pleaded with her to stay and have a drink. Fatima agreed and sat far away from Karen when Danni called her “family now.” Sabrina, Danni, and Andi all agreed that Karen and Fatima were being treated unfairly and that all women want to be loved. Danni advised Fatima to sit this one out because she’d found true love with a new and improved Zac. Later, Zac spoke with Jake on the phone at Fatima’s house, and Jake apologized for Gary’s shady behavior. They planned to meet the next day to plan.

Fatima came in and said she liked the Sister Circle, even Karen. He then informed Fatima of the Gary problem and assured her that he would take care of everything. Aaron called Karen and explained that his calendar calculations gave him the definite feeling that the baby was his. Andi watched a video Gary prepared for her explaining her penthouse’s complicated layout. Andi found Gary’s love letters in one drawer. Gary didn’t stop there; he bothered Zac this time. When Gary hung up, Hayden walked into his office on crutches and said that if Gary kept piling on the pressure on Zac, he’d keep spying on Andi for him. Jake stepped in and admitted he didn’t care for Hayden or Gary’s relationship with him. He stated that he would assist Zac in preparing for an SEC inquiry by educating him on all he should have known about the company before to purchasing the stock. Soon after Jake volunteered his assistance, the cops arrived with an SEC agent and detained Zac.
