As the third season of Batwoman draws to a close, CW will have to answer batwoman fans a lot of questions. The biggest issue on many fans’ minds right now is whether or not there will be the fourth season of Batwoman. If it comes when will be it the release date be?

The CW normally gives their fans a heads up around this time of year when they announce early renewals for most of their shows. This year, however, has been different, whether or not there is a pandemic, because the WarnerMedia/ViacomCBS-owned network is up for sale. Batwoman has yet to be canceled or renewed for a fourth season on the CW. However, it isn’t the only show on the network awaiting its fate. The Batwoman writers confirmed in a tweet that all CW shows have yet to learn whether or not they will be renewed for another season. Several shows, like Batwoman, are nearing the end of their current seasons or have already aired their finales, but their futures are unknown. and fans have no idea if either Arrowverse drama will return next year.

The official Batwoman Writers’ Room Twitter account provides occasional updates on the lack of a season 4 renewal, fans become anxious about their favorite shows. the account states they haven’t. The writers’ account clarifies that none of The CW’s shows have learned if they have been canceled or renewed for extra episodes, so Batwoman isn’t the lone show waiting to hear its fate.

What will happen to The CW’s properties, including the Arrowverse shows, is only a matter of time. Ideally, whoever acquires The CW will bring back as many shows as possible for the upcoming television season. With the season 3 finale of Batwoman coming up on Wednesday, fans will hopefully find out if a fourth season is in the works sooner rather than later. Batwoman the season 3 finale which airs tonight, is titled We Having Fun Yet? on The CW on Wednesday, March 2nd at 9 p.m. ET.
