Riverdale Season 6 Episode 13 Recap

Reggie and Veronica fight as he packs up his belongings from her flat. Reggie believes that if they had been together, he would have died; he also believes that Veronica can’t be single since she goes from one relationship to the other. The pregnancy test for Betty and Archie came back negative. Betty is relieved because of her history with her parents, although Archie thought they would make wonderful parents. Percival Perkins and his officers arrived at Jughead’s house to collect collateral after he failed to return a library book. Percival intends to close the Riverdale library and expects large debts. Percival receives a signed copy of Jughead’s grandfather’s book. Ms. Grundy’s guitar, Veronica’s painting of Hiram Lodge, Cheryl’s trunk with Jason’s skeleton, and Betty’s diary are among the items taken by Percival. Reggie had the book Percival needed and had not been charged any fees. Jughead, Veronica, Betty, Cheryl, and Archie meet in secret to talk about their missing books. Cheryl believes there is a supernatural element at work, and that Percival is using the tokens to affect their pasts and influences. Kevin is sceptical of Percival’s acts since he does not want his buddies to suffer.

Kevin must return his missing book or Percival will get tangled in. Percival casts a charm over all of the books and stolen property. Archie’s RROTC group makes fun of him the next day for appearing in the high school talent event. Betty’s stomach flips as she sees her dead father sweeping as a janitor, and Reggie’s dyslexia flares up since he can’t read. Jughead’s fingers bleed as Veronica swats a fly that flees. Betty confronts Percival and discovers a bottle of bleach on his desk, which he taunts her about unlocking a memory. From one of the rooms, Cheryl hears giggling. She pulls back the sheets to reveal a pile of roses beneath a mystery form. From the music room, Archie hears music. Ms. Grundy’s dead body plays the cello, while Percival is covertly playing the cello in his curios shop. Jughead’s fingers are itching and bleeding profusely. Reggie pleas with Percival to return his book, but he refuses. Reggie is forced to give Veronica a glaberage egg by Percivals’ mind control power. Betty tells Archie about her bleach-related olfactory recall. She was reading her diary when she remembered Hal cleaning his car with bleach. Archie keeps his ghost encounter a secret from Betty. To find out what happened to Doc, Jughead goes to Sketch Alley. Doc travelled west because of Percival’s influence, according to someone in the Alley. Spiders emerge from the glaberage egg that Veronica has opened. Her imagination is playing tricks on her with the spiders. Kevin’s missing book is returned by Moose. Kevin recalls his childhood as an overweight child. Cheryl gathers her friends to confirm her suspicions that Percival is casting spells on them. Jughead demonstrates the extent of his injuries to his hands.

Cheryl cautions them that if they don’t find their books, they’ll have to confront the demons and hope they live. Archie enters Percival’s store in quest of his guitar, but it isn’t there. As a token, Percival left him the cello. Archie confronts his RROTC kids about peeking through his yearbooks from high school. Ms. Grundy’s cello is broken by him. Kevin returns Percival’s library book. Kevin is pushed to join his side by Percival, who talks about his recollection. Kevin and Percival are having an affair. Betty enters wearing the same sunglasses as Ms. Grundy. Archie tells Betty the truth about Ms. Grundy’s appearances and ghostly encounters. Betty consoles Archie since Ms. Grundy groomed him. Archie tells that Jughead is looking for the books in a store. Heraldo and Veronica share a drink. She seduces Heraldo because she simply wants to hook up, and they kiss. Veronica wakes up to find Heraldo dead from a black widow bite after they have sex. Reggie is to fault for bringing the glaberage egg into Veronica’s house. Betty remembers Hal giving her a nightlight to help her overcome her fear of monsters.

The memory prompts a new interpretation of TBK’s personality: he is a father with a daughter. Reggie confronts Percival over Heraldo’s death and Veronica’s suffering. Reggie accepts to learn some magic skills from Percival. Jughead discovers duplicates of all the lost books. To get their belongings back, Cheryl, Betty, Jughead, and Archie surrender their books. Veronica refuses to make the deal because she refuses to give anyone power over her. Jughead refuses to burn his grandfather’s book and returns it to him. Cheryl utilises her supernatural abilities to set fire to Betty’s diary and Archie’s guitar. Cheryl’s trunk has been consumed by fire. Heraldo was murdered by black widow venom, according to Dr. Curdle Jr. He didn’t get venom from a bite; it came through his lips. Veronica’s ability is black widow poison, and her kiss has the potential to kill someone.
