In the morning Hiram hears a voiceover from Jughead who talks about the people who know little about him who want to destroy Riverdale. Reggie pays off his father’s debt at Hiram’s office and is ready to stop working with his own father at Mental Motors and work with Hiram, but needs a ghost gun instead. Reggie agrees to the deal. Reggie helps his father sell a car, but Marty (Matthew Yang King) is furious and wants Reggie to partner in the dealership. His father goes to Hiram. Leave Reggie alone. And then Hiram tells Reggie his past. (A flashback from 1988 in NYC) When he was Jaime Luna (Played by Michael Consuelos), the son of a Shoeshiner. Then his father, Javier Luna, learns that a palladium search is underway in a town called Riverdale. He moves to Riverdale with his family and his father gets a job in the mine for Palladium. Jaime’s mom Lordes Luna finds work at Pop’s restaurant, and Jaime and his father work at Pop’s outside booth flashing his shoes.
