Ordinary Joe Episode 5 Recap

In Music Joe’s world, Joe noticed that his son was in a wheelchair. He told Jenny about it, and he believed they were meant to be together. Joe also told Dr. Banks that he wanted to go to the talent competition and give the youngster a new wheelchair, but he didn’t know how to tell Amy about it, especially since the two couldn’t have children together. Amy returned home, obsessed by the publicity of disclosing their infertility problems to the general public. Others who couldn’t have children supported her. Joe considered telling her about his son but ultimately decided against it. Amy advised Joe not to attend the Halloween party because of the uproar surrounding his recent advertisement, and she asked Bobby if he could take her. He agreed but took advantage of the moment to get dressed and go meet Jenny. The stars seemed to have aligned for them to visit his son. She turned down the man and walked away.

Cop Joe: Joe discussed his concerns about Congressman Bobby Diaz with Amy. Amy snooped through files after Bobby left. She discovered something and went to Joe’s house to speak with him. Amy discovered proof that Bobby was having an affair with his intern and paid her hush money. Joe was given the evidence, and they began making out right away. Following the presentation, Bobby informed Amy that Joe had taken $100,000 from their bank account and showed her a photo of Joe with Jenny, his old college sweetheart. Amy worried whether Joe was cheating on Jenny and if she was the perfect person for Joe after learning this knowledge. Joe dressed up for the Halloween party and chatted with his kid while wearing a mask. He made a gift to the boy’s family in the form of an anonymous donation. After seeing his son, he became emotional throughout the encounter…

Nurse Joe: Jenny talked about her future while Joe put Christopher to bed. They said no to the boy being split between two households. Jenny rescinded her divorce. Joe and Jenny talked about Jenny’s externship the next day. Joe was entirely supportive, eager to pick up everyone and head for Atlanta. Meanwhile, Christopher confided in his pal that he was glad his parents were reunited but sad to be leaving. They held an audition, and the wheelchair-bound boy had heavenly lungs! He was cast in the recital’s lead. Meanwhile, Joe was at the hospital with Congressman Bobby Diaz. His shooter was arrested, according to a broadcast. Bobby blamed his intern’s brother for his death. Joe told Bobby he was going to Atlanta. Christopher was upset about not being able to say goodbye to everyone after trick or treating, so his parents planned a surprise farewell party at home. Moh had Christopher confess his feelings to Joe. He resisted moving. It’s okay, Amy overheard and joined them. To stay together as a family and a couple… even if remotely, Joe and Christopher agreed Amy should go.
