WHERE WAS NETFLIX’S BIONIC FILMED?

The Netflix show BIONIC, which was directed by Afonso Poyart, is set in the year 2035 and is about high technology. In the future world of “Bionic,” sports have changed a lot because of advances in technology. This is especially true at the Paralympics, where bionic prostheses are common. The movie is about two sisters, played by Gabz and Jessica Córes. In her dreams, Maria, a young and driven athlete, wants to compete against her athletic sister. But in order to reach her goal, Maria has to go into the darker parts of this high-tech society, where crime and violence are common.

Maria finds secrets that could change not only her life but also the future of sports as she makes her way through this dangerous world. “Bionic” is an exciting story about sacrifice and drive. It deals with themes like lust, competition, and the moral effects of technological progress.  Bruno Gagliasso, Christian Malheiros, Klebber Toledo, Paulo Vilhena, and Danton Mello join the cast in a thrilling story. Their rivalry leads them down a dark road. Let’s look at the beautiful places where NETFLIX’S BIONIC was filmed.

WHERE WAS NETFLIX’S BIONIC FILMED?

Netflix’s Bionic movie started filming in 2022, and São Paulo, Brazil, was the main setting. There were both old and new parts of this busy city that made it the perfect background. Bionic is Netflix’s first Brazilian movie of its kind, and the special effects are really great.

These sites make BIONIC look better by adding to the city’s unique skyline and cultural diversity. The choice to film in São Paulo let the makers combine the city’s lively energy with the futuristic themes of the movie. The cityscape and famous buildings made for a great setting, which made the movie both visually stunning and culturally important.

The famous São Paulo Cathedral, a neo-Gothic masterpiece, the historic Martinelli Tower, which was built in 1929, and the modernist Edifício Copan, which was designed by the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer, were all important shooting locations in São Paulo. These sites, along with São Paulo’s lively streets and cultural centers, helped make the setting feel real.

Because São Paulo is such an important cultural and business center in Brazil, it was the perfect place for BIONIC’s story, which is about sports in the future and technological progress. The city’s lively energy and rich cultural history gave the story more depth, making for an interesting and culturally rich watching experience.
