The Mayans conduct a daring attack on a safe house in Mexico, where they make off with supplies and a man who knows how to produce drugs. EZ is putting his plan to destroy the cartel into action. Emily takes her son shopping as her nanny and bodyguard keep an eye on him. She briefly considers escaping, but the return of the bodyguard puts an end to that idea. EZ establishes his dominance over the drug manufacturer Elio and gives him the task of making medications for the Mayans with the help of Bottles. Among the memorabilia that Felipe unearths belongs to Miguel is a portrait of a little kid who looks strikingly like Miguel.

When Felipe goes to Miguel’s house to give him the letters and photo, Miguel becomes angry and threatens him. Deputy Attorney General Patricia Devlin presses Lincoln Potter on several inconsistencies. Agent Melissa Lydecker of the ATF fires Katie after she visits Creeper in jail. Katie later uses Melissa’s stolen identification to find out who is helping the United States government snoop on the Mayans. To get some cash, Hope and Letty decide to commit a robbery on Meth Mountain. When a security guard comes between them, Letty stabs him and makes off with a money bag. They get away, but they’re concerned about getting back at someone later.

Angel (played by Clayton Cardenas)  tells Obispo that he is torn between his responsibilities as a father and his allegiance to the team. Obispo encourages him to put his family first. Obispo later confides in Maggie, telling her he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Emily and EZ meet in a park, and Emily asks EZ to help her get away with Cristobal in an untraceable car. One of the Sons of Anarchy makes their presence known by approaching Jess, the bartender at the Mayans, to inquire about the Sons’ firearms and to warn her about Proctor.

EZ and Angel bring Cole a drug sample and propose working together to ensure the safe transportation of drugs. Cole is intrigued and issues a challenge, asking for 10 kilograms to be delivered in the next few days. At the end of the episode, Creeper informs Hank that there is a rat in the Mayans’ inner sanctuary, prompting Hank to make plans to defend the club.
