One of the most important things we’ve learned about Mayans MC season 4 is that a lot of people are going to die. Not only that, but EZ’s hand will kill a lot of people. EZ Reyes kills Yuma Mayans chief Canche ( Jimmy Gonzales) in Mayans M.C Season 4, Episode 8. EZ (JD Pardo) killed his ex-girlfriend Gaby in episode 7, to keep his brother, Angel Reyes, from facing penalties for killing a security guard during their raid on UC Davis. EZ confessed to his father, what he did with Gabby. Felipe Reyes wept. Gaby was close to Felipe.
The Mayans launch an onslaught against the Sons of Anarchy in episode 8, in which they sneak into the San Bernardino compound and kill a slew of their foes. EZ murders a man in the Sons of Anarchy’s chapel towards the end of the battle. When Canche walks in, EZ shoots him in the head. and pretends that he has been killed by Son’s attack. EZ tells Manny that he is sorry for his loss. He also recommends Manny run for vice president of the Yuma charter, whose leadership would shift after Canche’s death. Manny has a strong suspicion that EZ was involved in Canche’s killing based on the scene.
EZ’s arc has changed since he killed Gaby. He’s darker and merciless than ever, which makes it harder to tell who the good guys and the bad guys are. After killing the Gabby, EZ was too upset that he killed Canche without a thought . it appears that EZ ‘ll probably grow crazier before it gets better, so expect some more folks to perish in here.
