Magnum PI Season 5 Confirmed: When will Magnum P.I Season 5 air on NBC?

As soon as Magnum P.I. The finale of season 4 came to a close, the audience was expecting season 5, when season 4 was declared as the final season, the audience’s hopes were dashed. Following the cancellation of the CBS series in May, NBC recently announced a two-season renewal, which came as a huge surprise to the cast and fans around the world. Fortunately, soon after, wonderful news arrived. The actor who played the title character, Jay Hernandez, has since issued a heartfelt letter to fans in response to the information.

Shortly after the cancellation, it was stated that Universal TV, the show’s production company, was pitching the show to various networks in an effort to revive it. Things looked positive for a while when talks with USA Network or NBC appeared to be open, but it took some time for a contract to finally materialize.

Magnum P.I Season 5 Confirmed

Over the 4th of July weekend, Jay Hernandez posted on Twitter, Magnum P.I. Renewal instead of America’s Birthday. He responded to a video posted by NBC and praised viewers for their efforts to save the show, which included “Save Magnum P.I. Billboard”. In his tweet, he expressed the same sentiments and gratitude for being back on filming soon: Hernandez has also indicated that he is looking forward to launching Season 5 after a month and a half following the initial CBS cancellation news.

NBC has so far only gone on to split 20 episodes into two seasons. So thus we get a total of ten episodes in season 5.

Additionally, sources tell TVLine that Magnum P.I. Season 5 Unlike its usual July start date, production won’t begin until the fall. Magnum P.I. Season 5 may not launch until mid-season, possibly in January at the earliest, due to a production start date a month later. According to TVLine, in the winter of 2023, Magnum may take the time slot in February or March.
