Legends of the Hidden Temple Reboot Episode 2: “The Hawaiian Legend of Pele”

The concept of a “Legends of the Hidden Temple” rebirth isn’t inherently insulting. Why not a gloriously corny game show in which youngsters scrambled over styrofoam rocks and answered trivia questions about phony Mayan stories as a scarlet-eyed stone sculpture set their next task while a scarlet-eyed stone sculpture set their next challenge? “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” which ran on popular Nickelodeon from 1993 to 1995, was one of television’s more fun distractions for a certain section of millennials. The CW has reintroduced “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” some 20 years after it initially aired. The players are still divided into conventional animal teams and face obstacle courses similar to those seen in the last year, albeit on a dreadful set that conjures Party City rather than Mayan ruins.

The second episode of the season is named “The Fiery Lava Rock of Pele,” implying that the show will focus on the Hawaiian deity of fire. Each task will be based on a different aspect of the narrative being told. The Blue Barracudas, Green Monkeys, Red Jaguars, and Silver Snakes must pay great attention to Olmec’s story, or their lack of concentration could cost them in later rounds when their knowledge of Pele’s legend is put to the test.

‘Legends of the Hidden Temple’ Reboot Episode 2 Release Date

‘Legends of the Hidden Temple’ (2021) Episode 2 will release on October 17th at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Each hour-long episode, which has been expanded from the original’s half-hour episodes, demands contestants to use both their brains and their strength in order to win a cash reward, with host Cristela Alonzo cheering them on.
