‘Killing Eve’ Finale Season 4 Episode 5 Recap

The episode opens with a flashback to a gathering of an anarchist group in Berlin in 1979. A young Carolyn is shown to be one of the members of this gang, who suggested the moniker ‘The Twelve.’ Carolyn is currently in Berlin, paying a visit to some ‘old pals.’ Meanwhile, Villanelle is still in Cuba and meets Benita, the safehouse’s cleaner, who tells her about her violent husband, who happens to be a firefighter. She decides to assassinate the man and sets up a phony fire to entice him in. Eve stole Helene’s daughter, Yusuf discovers, in an attempt to scare her. Carolyn finds out about her father’s suicide in another flashback scenario.

Konstantin, who had infiltrated the anarchist group under a false name, had discovered her father’s sexuality and was blackmailing him, it was subsequently revealed. Lars, who is still alive and a suspected member of ‘The Twelve,’ is revealed to be this man. Eve meets Hélène, who says she’s on her way to get Lars. Unable to resist, Eve joins her. Carolyn arrives at his cabin to discover him dissatisfied with her presence. Helene threatens Eve and entices her in with the promise of additional information. Villanelle swears to find The Twelve and enlists Konstantin’s assistance. Eve, who is in the car with Helene, notices Villanelle as she left the hotel. Villanelle is suddenly stabbed by an arrow shot from behind her. Eve is exit the vehicle and grabs Villanelle, who is wounded and in shock.
