The season 16 Episode 1 of Grey’s Anatomy series titled “Nothing Left To Cling To,” gave us tears, and out of pain together with a few shocking surprises. we saw Alex Karev Proposes to Jo , Meredith Grey’s Medical License is in Jeopardy and Amelia Shepherd is Pregnant .
Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) is frantically trying to find Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) at night on the side of the road. An ambulance arrives to assist, with Vic to help.
Before Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) recent treatment for depression, she offered Alex (Justin Chambers) an ‘out,’ pointing out the fact that they had never legally gotten married. When she is ready to go home, he gets down on one knee and tells her he doesn’t want an ‘out,’ he wants her.
Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) stops by to awkwardly ask Dr. Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) about something intimate when Carina points out that Amelia is showing signs of being pregnant. Suddenly, a lot of things start to make sense to Amelia.
Maggie (Kelly McCreary) spots Jackson (Jesse Williams) chatting with Vic (‘Station 19’s’ Barrett Doss) outside the hospital and realizes they are becoming a couple just a few weeks after Maggie and Jackson’s breakup. Catherine (Debbie Allen) is upset with Richard (James Pickens Jr.) for taking a job at a different hospital. And Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) gets a message that her medical license could be taken away
