The Day Shift trailer cleverly promotes the movie as coming “from the guys who taught John Wick how to kick ass,” so everything is set for some summertime bloodsucking fun.
“Foxx stars as a hard-working blue-collar father who wants to give a good life to his astute daughter, but his menial San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of money, hunting and killing vampires as a member of a worldwide union of hunters.”
