David has always helped Serene escape home life, but David loses his best friend and contact with her. David was more than a friend to Serene. They never met for almost 15 years. Because Seren’s mother and stepfather could not find him and hence he lived a life of oblivion.
He now uses his real father’s last name, so David can’t find it. Marisa (Erica Luttrell) comes to the party with an iguana named ‘Rissa’. David (kwame patterson) is shocked to see this, Marissa asks “Do you have a problem with this animal being here?” The answer is “It’s a question of trick?” That’s when Serene arrives. And Serene tells that Marissa invited him. David is shocked that Marissa has seen Serene recently. Serene tells that he only works for himself. And he’s a lobbyist. Marissa learns of the mall plan and she nearly stopped it at Clearwater.
By the end of the episode, it was David asking Galvin Serene for his much-needed help to get his life back on track. And now he has definitely come to repay her favor and helps David in every way he can. so that David could become the man he was supposed to be.
