This season, Dave and Mike are working on their non-existent album. In the process, they do their best to find out that they and Mike have been fired. Dave goes to Airbnb with his parents, Don Burd (David Pemmer) and Carol Burd (Gina Hatch), who have been there since they moved to LA. Dave learns something about his parents makes him sad and uncomfortable. Dave’s father is suffering from an illness, and on the other hand he doesn’t even know about his mother’s favorite food. Due to which he feels that he is becoming selfish. He knows that his music is where he really uses his emotions.
