At the start of the show, Tiffany is on death row and about to be put to death. She does, however, plan a bold escape with the help of a dishonest guard that she controls. As chaos breaks out in the prison, Nica (Fiona Dourif) is shocked and horrified to see Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) escape.
At the same time, Jake (Zackary Arthur) goes on a dangerous trip into the spirit world to meet Chucky’s ghost. Jake meets his abusive father in the spirit world, which forces him to deal with his past issues. Even though they have a rough past, Jake forgives his dad in the end, and his dad tells him about the danger Chucky poses in the spirit world.
Jake finally finds Chucky’s spirit, played by Brad Dourif. The spirit takes Jake to a theater showing clips from old Chucky movies and episodes that show the doll’s most famous killings. While everything is going crazy, Jake finds what looks like a good version of Chucky. This version of Chucky tells Jake that Caroline is with her grandpa, Wendell Wilkins.
Jake begs Good Chucky for help because he wants to end the nightmare for good. This, however, turns out to be a distraction that lets Chucky take over Jake’s body. Because of this, a bomb goes off, setting the White House on fire.
Jake takes Devon and Lexy to Wilkins’ house, which is now occupied by Chucky. There, they learn about Wilkins’ dark past and his part in making the Good Guy dolls. Wilkins says that he still has the original Good Guy prototype, and Caroline shows up, having been influenced by Chucky.
Caroline, Chucky, and Wilkins do a voodoo rite together to bring Chucky’s spirit back to life in a doll. Tiffany comes back in a big way, and Chucky proposes to her while telling her that Wilkins has kept her original doll version safe.

The end of the third season of Chucky leaves fans with a lot of unanswered questions and a creepy feeling. It’s shocking and sad that Nica finds out that Jake, Lexy, and Devon have been turned into toys. These characters have been through a lot this season, and this is a terrible end for them.
