Chucky Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

Tiffany is holding Andy at gunpoint inside the van of Good Guy dolls he snatched when Season 2 begins. He diverts her as soon as he has the opportunity, prompting her to shoot through the windshield and put her gun down. As the army of Chucky ascends to the top of the car, he grabs it and strikes her in the head. Andy plunges his car off a cliff into the blazing depths below as retaliation for them killing Kyle. Jake is relocating to a new foster family two hours outside of Hackensack. After a lengthy kiss, he bids Devon farewell and we cut to Salem, New Jersey, six months later. On Halloween night, Jake’s foster family forbids him from taking the bus to see Devon. He receives a spooky call while escorting his new foster brother Gary trick-or-treating that sounds awfully like Chucky!

The identical call comes in for Devon, and when the caller returns via FaceTime, we can see that the doll is at Lexy’s house. and he is standing just by her bedroom door. When the police arrive after Devon called them, Caroline says she had let “the ghost of Halloween past” to use the restroom. When they both understand it was probably Chucky, the girls ask the cops to wait until their mother gets home. Caroline encourages her sister to be honest after the doctor claims that Junior Wheeler was responsible for all of the homicides from the previous season during a family therapy session. Lexy declines. She lies, saying “Chucky was just a doll.” Currently, the younger sister experiences pediophobia, fear of dolls. It’s hard to blame her! Caroline is less than thrilled as the therapist gives her to a brand-new doll named Belle.

In private, Lexy informs her sister that the therapist is crazy. Caroline shouldn’t put her trust in a doll because they know the truth. Ever. Sweet dreams, Lexy tells Caroline as she offers her a huge butcher knife to sleep with, though she definitely doesn’t mean it to sound that way. The two males hurry to Lexy’s as Jake slips away to Devon’s. When they go looking for Belle, they find the doll in bed with Caroline, noting that she resembles Tiffany a bit too much. Caroline claims Belle is fine and not at all like Chucky the following morning. Jake and Devon are informed by Lexy that it’s possible their original fright was a joke. They gained some notoriety following the murders from the previous season. Perhaps the publicity brought them unwanted attention.   Lexy is now drug-dependent.   The doorbell rings as she is away in the bathroom smashing tablets. Gary is shown carrying a Chucky doll that is also holding a bomb.

Chucky forces everyone to settle down on the couch when Devon and Jake arrive downstairs. They allegedly walked right into Chuck’s trap. To be able to execute them all at once, he desired for the three of them to reunite. However, he is holding off on detonating the device until he sees Lexy. an exhausted Lexy leaves the restroom and makes her way up the stairs. Chucky becomes distracted when Lexy notices him, which gives Devon the opportunity to tase him in the face. Gary grabs the bomb after Chucky drops it and rushes inside the kitchen. The young youngster is killed when Chucky chases after it and detonates it. The three teenagers are later sent to a special school by Lexy’s therapist and an investigator so they can atone for their sins. They all anticipate that Chucky will attack them once more because Devon speculates that more than one Chucky doll lived in Andy’s vehicle accident. They discover their new home is the same one Charles Lee Ray grew up in as the bus comes up to it. A short while later, the driver of a carrier van arrives with a special Chucky box item to distribute.
