Chicago P.D. Season 11 Episode 1 Recap

The latest Chicago Police episode begins with Voight and his group were to shadow several crime-fighting strategies as part of their “New Possibilities in Policing” program. They also needed to replace Ruzek. Ruzek was having trouble requalifying despite having survived the shooting season before. He handled the recovery.

He worked out with Atwater as normal. It is just because he was not the same person he was before the shooting that it is taking him longer than normal to return to Intelligence. But six months had passed. His place couldn’t be left unoccupied indefinitely. Sergeant Platt tried her best to persuade Voight to select a new member of the team. And he was trying not to think about her.

Voight was not even willing to provide his personnel for the new initiative. It was directly from his employers, therefore he was compelled to do it. Thus, he gave Detective Upton a loan. She was meant to be observing the recently hired Crime Prevention Pilot, but she found their approaches to be a little too idealistic.

They noticed a man battling to enter an apartment complex. There was no clothing on him. He appeared to be experiencing a mental breakdown. The new physicians involved in the pilot program attempted to defuse the situation because they didn’t even know if he resided in the building. which Upton thought was overly hopeful. She noticed that there was blood on this man. He shoved her against the apartment building’s glass doors when she sought to arrest him.

The door was broken by them. But Upton didn’t care about the scratches. She took their suspect into custody. She noticed the blood in the hallway as well. It led her to an apartment, where she discovered two blood-covered people. The man had passed away. The woman was not dead yet. Someone had set up the flat to blow up to hide the murders, so Upton had to get her out of there.
