On a little laptop, Abby and the girls are watching Princess Bride. When Bree comes by, she joins them. Next, Megan arrives with ice cream. Connor assures Kevin that there is no need to reschedule their trip to Maui until he is feeling better. Kevin and Sarah had considered doing so. Margaret worries about taking the bar test. Connor is interrupted by Megan’s kale smoothie. Even when Connor groans while taking one down, Margaret would like one. Abby’s second date with Evan receives poor advice from Bree and Jess. At the Inn is David’s mother. Everything is terrible. She can’t escape the media. Her friends won’t talk to her, and the FBI keeps asking the same questions of her. She cannot comprehend why her spouse would treat them in such a manner. After inviting Luke over for brunch, Bree requests that Luke read her latest short story, a tale of redemption that takes place in a jail.

Megan is being urged by Carter to accept the Getty job. She is reluctant to leave. Bree is dissatisfied when Luke says that her narrative is excellent but inaccurate. He interrupts her after the first sentence because she wants to start at the top but can’t see the climate inside the prison. Kevin has arrived with luggage. After that, Mick, Connor, and Kevin have some alone time. Connor is quite concerned about Megan and the job, but Mick reassures him that there are many other factors at play in addition to his health. Evan despises jazz, so he is unsure of her suggestion that they visit a jazz club in Baltimore, but he will try to make the best of it. Bree’s second try at the short narrative impresses Luke a lot. She really did capture it. Mick appears stoned when he arrives at The Bridge. He is stumbling and has no memory of what Luke has spoken to him. Luke is anxious. He directly inquires as to whether he is still taking the painkillers. Luke asks, and Mick storms off in a rage. Evan is going crabbing with Abby. They enjoy themselves greatly. David’s sister also shows up. Because life in Boston is a living misery, she followed her mother. If her wedding gift was received, she inquires. They didn’t send cards of appreciation? Until he had the Irish moss tea Megan provides him, Connor had no idea he would crave a kale smoothie. With her performance on the first day of the bar test, Margaret is delighted. The essay questions were difficult for Connor, but Margaret found them enjoyable. It’s a problem that the narrative has followed David’s family to the inn. It’s handled expertly by Jess. Mick at last had his cast removed. When he requests more painkillers, the doctor refuses. You have to wonder if Mick will take a prescription pad when the doctor leaves him in the room on his own. Because of his feelings for Megan, Connor calls the family to a spontaneous gathering. Mick is returning to the house in his car. He has no business operating a vehicle. He is tearing apart the bathroom to look for drugs since he is really jonesing. He consumes the last one that is left. Mick needs to prepare mentally before seeing the family. Megan, who shows up with one bottle of wine, is not well received by the family. That is insufficient! Connor confronts Megan prior to their meal. Despite feeling ganged up on, she listens and values their input. She chooses to visit LA.
